Description

The CAB500 or officially the CAB500-C current sensor by LEM is a compact and easy to install sensor. With an accuracy of 0,5% it is able to measure currents up to 500A and outputs the data directly onto the CAN-BUS at a 10ms rate.

Default baudrate is 500 kbps but some we can reconfigure for you to 125 kbps or 250 kbps.

Small variations due to availability can occur. For example with metal inserts in mounting tabs (model SP7) or without (model SP5). Mostly available is the used SP1 variant. If you need a specific model or CAN ID that it uses, contact me and I’ll check.

In case 300A and a fixed baudrate of 500 kbps is a match you can consider using the LEM CAB300 whitch is a bit cheaper.
