Brake line reducers Tesla master brake cylinder
€18,00 (inc. VAT €18,00)
Reducer kit to use 4,75 mm (3/16″) brake line on a Tesla master brake cylinder.
In stock (can be backordered)
Description
Why you need a brake line reducer? Tesla uses 6mm steel brake line and a M12x1 brake nut. As a result the flare required is quite big. Often in cars 4,75 mm (or 3/16″) is used. This brake line is too small to flare to the Tesla master brake cylinder brake line seat size.
This pair of adapters allow you to reduce the M12x1 to M10x1 and at the same time reduce the internal diameter / hole size. As a result you will be able to use a 4,75 mm (3/16″) brake line diameter on the female M10x1 side.
An important remark is that the female side is a concave seat and therefore requires a DIN/ISO bubble flare. Do NOT use a single flare, brake lines always must have a double flare.
The kit includes two adapters.
